Wine tasting seminar “Supporting the Cretan Vineyard. Monday 3rd of November, Ierapetra, Lasithi.

The Winemakers of Heraklion, in cooperation with the “Educational house of Ierapetra, organized a seminar with blind wine tasting. In this seminar the main theme was the Cretan indigenous varieties.

The participants were wine professionals, businessmen, restaurants employees and cava owners from the Prefecture of Lasithi. The special characteristics of the Cretan Vineyard and the evolution until nowadays were the most emphasized at the seminar.

Wine tasting for the “Essen und Trinken” magazine.

On the15th of November, Wines of Crete organized a wine tasting for the German gastronomy magazine “Essen & Trinken” (www.essen-und-trinken.de) with the journalist Mr. Kay-Henner Menge, which took place at the Douloufakis Winery. In this wine tasting many cretan wineries with great cretan wines participated so that the journalist will have a general idea what the cretan wine is. You can see more photos HERE
