Karavitakis Merlot
The name Merlot is said to be delivered from ”Merle”, French for blackbirds, which apparently loves it’s sweet early ripening fruit. These grapes are harvested from our private vineyards and undergo classic red wine vinification with skin contact fermentation under controlled temperature between 25 and 28 degrees. As a result we have a very deep red wine, with forest fruit aromas, scents of vanilla and chocolate. The texture is velvety and it’s tannins rounded.
